Art at the Winery exhibition: Heather Davies, Debbie Lucas (Keisley)

An exhibition by popular artists Heather Davies and Debbie Lucas will include exciting new works featuring local landscapes and other subjects.
Heather is a well known landscape watercolour painter whose works are inspired by, amongst other things, the natural elements in the landscape, for example the rock formations or shapes on the Fellside that show the movement which has taken place over many millions of years.
Debbie is a popular felt artist whose works are each hand rolled using mainly merino wool. The fleece is hand died to provide a rich pallet of colour to work with and the pictures made by building up layers of different coloured fleece. Debbie’s inspiration comes from the ever changing Cumbrian landscape and the rich colours enhance the dramatic scenery of this part of the country.
High Cup Winery is Cumbria's only winery and vineyard, and visitors will be able to enjoy wine tastings and refreshments while viewing the exhibits.
